HOW THE SENTRY/ASM OPERATES
The Sentry/ASM sampler is placed near the stream or sewer, or suspended in the manhole to be sampled and the inlet screen submerged. The inlet tubing is connected to the sampler's peristaltic pump tube by a press fit connector. The sample delivery tube is connected to the output side of the pump tube and led into the sample container. The number of samples per hour is set on the "Samples per hour" switch. The time until turn off is switch selected. Sample volume is adjusted with a knob to increase or decrease. The sampler may be set to purge before, after, or both before and after the sample is collected.
